My DH agreed to a trip in October last night:cool1:
We were looking at October 18-23 but then we miss the weekend. We have an entertainment card and will stay at Hojo's but if we want to go to a Halloween party we will have to pay the regular price for the weekend. So....

When do the halloween parties usually run? Just weekends?
What are my chances of actually getting tickets?
Is there enough Halloween stuff without doing the party?
What do you thinks crowds will be like that week?

Thanks!

Hey, BC :cool1: The parties are usually on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and there is a party scheduled for Thursday October 22, so you're good to go. If you don't have an AP, you can get a ticket in August (we did last year and it was fine - just get it as soon as you can in August). There are Halloween decorations and stuff in both parks, but the TOT party is really fun :thumbsup2 If you're going to be there and can do it, I would certainly recommend it.

The crowds will be crazy for Halloween stuff, but it's okay. Just get there early, use FastPass, and take breaks. Remember that DCA is open only for people with tickets to the TOT party on the nights of the party, so that is special (and makes DL crazy busy!!!!!)

Thank you Queenbillibong, that's exactly the info I was looking for.

I know your from BC as well, are you joining the Ladies Only Trip in March? I've followed (tried to keep up) with the threads from the first 2 trips and they sound like a blast.

Yes - I went on the trip this year and it was a blast! We have a mini one with families in October - around the time you will be there (the 23-25). It's a great group of ladies. You should think about coming in 2010 - escape the Olympic madness ;)
