It isn't quite as simple as that, Tom. Sometimes the resort has more to do with a particular season or time of year than the date for DVC in general. For example, January and September are some of the easiest times to book at all on-site DVCs even though they are low point times. Early December, on the other hand, is very difficult to book, and it too is a low points time. Folks like the decorations and holiday happenings without the crowds, so early December books up quickly with VWL almost booking up before the 7 month window even opens up. Credit that to a very small DVC resort combined with marvelous Holiday decor at that resort. October has become very popular across the board for on-site DVCs because of the Epcot food and wine festival, but will be particularily difficult for BCV both because of it's small size and proximity to Epcot's World Showcase. Of course, holiday times (all of them, even minor ones) will be difficult across the board on short notice. Add to that the fact that GVs can be difficult ANY time, and the fact that many times the demand for studios far exceeds the supply, and you have certain unit types being difficult to get many times (GVs and studios).
