Need some advice please!

HI,

What would you do in this situation. I have the following trip booked for this August:

8/16 BCV Studio ( Sat night to save pts)
8/17-8/20 BCV 1 Bed
8/21 BWV 1 bed standard
8/22-8/23 POP

I was waitlisted for BCV 1 bed for 8/21 and it came through, but I was told I am short the 6 pts to move from BW to BC

Should I keep the BWV on the 21st, or cancel and extend my POP reservation by 1 day? Or should I cancel my Saturday at BCV studio and stay at Pop that night and use pts for waitlist of the 21st?

If I get the waitlist, I will move 2 times. If I leave as is, I will move 3 times.

I wouldn't move that much. IF you can't get the extra 6 points to do BCV for the entire time I'd wait list for BWV SV for the dates you have BCV. You could also look to pay cash through MS for those nights instead of doing POP and or for the first night at BCV (Sat Night). You could also consider OKW where you'd likely get more days with your points. You could consider a studio for the entire time rather than the 1 BR. You could also stay off property the first night, esp if getting in late. All far better choices if it were I instead of moving 3 times. I'd try to get it down to 1 move if possible else you're going to lose part of 3 days of your vacation.

We usually do a split stay for various reasons--one move is OK, two would be a pain, 3 would be out of the question for a one week stay. I would take the BCV for the extra night and cancel BCV studio for the 1st SAt and stay at POP the 1st night--you are already planning to move from a studio to 1 BR--you very well might have to get out by 11 and not in until 4--so being at BCV the whole time doesn't really matter--you still have to move---so I would just stay at POP on cash and save a lot of points--then you would have only 2 moves--from Pop to BCV and then back to Pop.

we pay cah for a fri or sat night or you use to many points.

maybe you should book points from sunday till thurs. night. then you can stay in one room either a studio or maybe a one bedroom. call now and get on a waiting list for a link stay. hope it works out for you.

Oh, and is there a way to only rent the 6 points from someone and apply it to your existing reservation?

I am actually going to be staying the weekend at Pop anyway, so it would make sense to cancel the Thursday night ressie at BWV and just stay at Pop for 3 nights at the end instead of 2, however I think the pts I used for BWV were borrowed in and will expire at the end of August as I have Sept UY. That would mean I would have to lose 22 pts. I don't know if there is any way around that.

Oh, and is there a way to only rent the 6 points from someone and apply it to your existing reservation?

I am wondering this too. Does anyone know the answer. I know that I cannot transfer in borrowed pts from my other contract. But can I buy 6 pts from someone?
