I am taking my 10 year old niece to the World Sept. 8-15 (yea, free dining!). We already have ADR's at Teppanyaki (dinner), Crystal Palace (breakfast), O'Hana's (breakfast), Akershus (breakfast), Whispering Canyon Cafe (lunch) & Chef Mickey's (breakfast). Since we are attending MNSSHP on Friday night, I would like to make an ADR for either a late lunch or early dinner someplace convenient to MK. I tried to get in at LTT; however, they are booked solid (waited too long to decide which week to go I guess:sad2: ). Is there somewhere else that you recommend that has a good chance of being available?

We will probably spend the day taking it easy at a water park, DTD or the resort before heading out for MNSSHP since we will be leaving on Saturday, so we don't necessarily need to eat at a MK restaurant. DN is a great eater and is not picky at all!! I, however, am extremely picky -- do not like seafood, most "non-American" food, "weird" sauces..... you get the picture. Anyhow, let me know what you recommend. Thanks!

I would try concorse steak house for a late lunch (last seating time is 2:40) and then head over to the party. A big steak meal will fill you up for most of the party. OR Kana Cafe at the poly also for a late lunch.
I would chooce these because they are very close to MK and offer hearty meals so you don't have to take time to eat during the party.

We had a horrible experience at Concourse Steakhouse--won't ever try that place again. Since you were thinking of LTT...why not do 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian? It is the best of the character buffets, and just a monorail hop to MK. Chef Mickey's is also good, but 1900 is a notch up. Another thought would be Ohana at the Poly--again, good food, but sounds like not exactly what you are looking for.

You didn't say which resort you are using--you might consider eating at your resort before heading to the park...if it is one with a yummy restaurant.

Ditto on 1900 Park Fare. Awesome selection and easy to get to MK either by monorail or boat
