Hi! This is my first post, but I have been reading (and getting tons of info from) the forums for a few months now. Thanks for all of the great info :)

I am heading to Disney at the end of June (I know, worst time of the year) with our 2 and 4 year old sons and my husband's parents. BIL and SIL will be joining us for two days as well. We are going to be staying at the Grand Floridian.

Anyway, I can book my FP+ today and I wanted to get some suggestions for which rides/ attractions are a MUST. I would like to use the FP+ for rides and things that we can ALL do together. My 2 year old is 30 inches tall and gets really upset if he is not doing a ride with his brother- if something is an absolute MUST for 40+ inchers then let me know and we will figure it out though.

We have 2 days at MK, 1 at Epcot, and 1 at HS. I want to stay away from using the FP+ on character meet and greets; my 4 y/o runs hot and cold with loving them and being terrified. Both kids love rides, neither one likes to be scared. I have the list that I got from this site of the suggested FP+ priorities already... just wanted to get some opinions.

Thank you in advance! :)

Worst time of year? No time at disney is the worst time of year!!! Will it be busy? Yes, but you are already ahead of the crowd because you are thinking ahead and having plans in place.

I don't know how to answer your question because it sounds like you have some specific parameters which narrows your fp+ choices considerably. Will any of the adults feel like they missed out if they don't get on space or splash? Soarin or tower of terror? Not really rides your 2 or 4 year old can or would want to go on, but often must dos for adults.

Whatever you decide, I hope you have a magical time!

Thank you! To answer your question, no, none of the adults want to ride the rides separately. We are really going on this trip with the mindset that it is FOR the kids. We have all been there before and have ridden these rides. Does that help at all? :)

My wife, 6 YO daughter and I are going out from 6/22-26. I just put together all my FP+ and I am with you that this is really just for my daughter. It was pretty tough to find what to do with the FP+ because I am just not sure what the lines are going to be like.

We are doing 2@MK as well. I did the following...probably not the greatest plan, and I will probably change it many times between now and when we go, but this is what came to me while I was on there picking...

HS - GMR, TSMM, Muppet 3D

EPCOT - SE, Soarin, Nemo...Nemo is over at 11:25 and I am hoping to be able to get a 4th FP for TT sometime later in the day, but I am not sure if I will be able to do so...stupid tiers.

MK #1 - Anna & Elsa (surprisingly wide open all days of my trip), Peter Pan, Buzz lightyear

MK #2 - Under the sea, Dumbo, Barnstormer

AK - Safari, River rapids, Tough to be a bug

As you can see, no Splash or Space mountain, no RnRR or ToT, nothing too crazy. All kid. All the time. I'm hoping Dwarf ride opens up for FP+ soon and I will switch out something for that.

I feel like I lucked out with my boys. They do not care at all about meeting Princesses. They like Frozen, but there's no way they are going to specifically ask me to meet Anna and Elsa.

Yes! For Mk, under these parameters, I would fp: Peter Pan, etw/b, jungle cruise,Winnie the Pooh, and consider fp for the afternoon and evening parades. At hs, I would go with tsmm, tgmr, and voyage of the little mermaid or muppets. At epcot, I would do maelstrom, turtle talk and ? Maybe land.

So far I have:
MK: Jungle Cruise, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, BUzz Lightyear, Pirates, Tomorrowland Speedway (going to look into changing out one or two for a parade)

HS: TSMM, Dis Jr, and Muppets 3d

Which one is ETW/b?

I have a 4 year old that does not like being scared, though he meets the 40 inch requirment (barely). Here are the rides we are doing that have no height requirement.

Enchanted Tales with Belle
Jungle Cruise
Under the Sea
Peter Pan
Winnie the Pooh
Buzz Lightyear.

I would avoid Tommorrowland Speedway. It is not fun (sorry!). It is VERY loud (think 85 unmuffled lawnmowers by your ear), very hot - you are 6 inches from the pavement in an open car, and it smells like diesel and burnt rubber. Line is also BORING and long. Little kids cannot reach the pedals or see out of the front windshield area.

Previous poster is right, that is my shorthand for enchanted tales. Just my opinion but I've read all over the boards that the fp+ seating for dis Jr is so close to the stage it obstructs the view.

That does not sound fun at all! My kids have those little Jeep things that they drive around in at home... so it is not like this would be a new and exciting experience. They have no idea what Beauty and the Beast is... but I will switch out the speedway, thanks.

I had heard the same thing, but I also heard that if you get on the back of the FP+ cue, the sightlines are better. They love those characters.. I just want to make sure that they get in to the show... is this a mistake? Is regular seating fine?

The jeep thing your kids have goes faster than the speedway cars..AVOID AVOID AVOID. Horrible experience.
