Need some advice on how to do a big idea i have ...

OK so I have alot of time but I am in need of some advice from all the crafty people here... My trip back home (ha ha ) is in Late August into September and i am traveling with my daughter and her BFF.. they are 13 years old and I was thinking about doing a grand welcome .. SO here is my need for some advice on how to surprise them i know how to set things up but how could i get to the room before them or how can i do this without them knowing..please help

could you send them off to the food court to get mugs and drinks for everyone and then have them come to the room?

Especially because there are two of them, you could leave them in the lobby on a couch or somewhere safe and ask them to stay put. Tell them you'll be back in a minute, you're going potty, or checking with the staff to see if there is availability (for something).

It would be easy to get to the room and distribute the stuff. Personally, even the girls being together, I wouldn't be comfortable with my 13 yo girls walking around a resort alone. (yes, I'm paranoid, but there are many rooms they could get taken into before they got to yours) That is why I'd leave them in a very public area with lots of staff around.

Piece of cake.

Everytime we've gone on a cruise, I leave them at the lunch table eating, and excuse myself. I can be back within 10-15 min. They have rarely missed me.

Just an afterthought..... If you send stuff in a box to the resort with your name and ressie #, you can call ahead that day and ask them to put the box in your room. Then you don't even have to carry anything in.
