Need some advice here....FLL???

Okay guys. Not WDW related but giving this question a shot anyway. I'm flying into Ft Lauderdale next Sunday. Last minute trip to visit my dad. He is in Pompano Beach. I could rent a car for about $145, but I don't need it once I get there...just need it to get back and forth to airport. So...my question is this....have any of you used any type of service (cab, car service) from FLL to someplace about 30 mins away?? I believe I can get a cab there, at FLL. But I"m more concerned with my flight home...it's a 7:30am flight, and I'm not sure the best way to get back to the airport. Pompano is about 20 mins north of Ft Lauderdale.
Any suggestions????

Well...I was all set to book a shared ride through Go Shuttle, at FLL. It would have taken me a bit of time to get to Pompano Beach (about an hour or so), but it was about $20 each way!!! Had no issue doing that. I'm glad I waited to book it since my step-sister insists on driving down to FLL to get me. I just hate to have others take time to make the 30 min drive.
It's good to know there is a cheap, easy way to get to my dad's though. Good to know for the future.
