Need some advice for my daughter....

My daughter and her husband have paid off their disney vacation package early. She wants to call and add the park hopper and one or two days onto the package. If she calls and adds them before the 45 day mark will she have to pay the new ticket prices? We booked back in February.

She should add the park hopper after they get there and use the tickets once. That will "bridge" them to the new price.

I would think she would just pay the difference between the price of her tickets now and whatever extra the park hoppers currently cost.

This. Also, it is better to wait and see if you will actually use the hopper. Many people get the add on and don't use it at all or enough to justify the large increase.

Not sure if the ticket price will increase if days are added to their package but the tickets stay exactly as they are now. Probably the price will increase.

If they just wanted to add the hopper option, the way to do it is to bridge the ticket, as others have said; use tickets once then upgrade.

I just called yesterday to add Park Hoppers, we booked our trip in May. The park hopper options were only $55 each and it didn't affect our ticket price to add them.

However, we had to add a $15 charge because I was trying to change them before two weeks.
