Need serious advice on our "plan"

I'm trying to plan our week in Disney and have never done the dining plan before but plan on purchasing it when we go. Got a question first...I just noticed the Fantasmic Dining Plan thingy and when I read it, it said that we can use a table service credit towards it which is great but then it said that the price does not include admission. What does this mean? Do you pay something extra on top of the Fantasmic DP? Here's the quote

Prices for the fixed price dinners are as follows:

Brown Derby $36.99 adult/$10.99 child (3-9) not including admission, tax, and gratuity. Your choice of appetizer, soup, or salad; entree; and dessert from menu. Items include Spice Grilled Filet Mignon, Pan-Seared Grouper, and The Original Cobb Salad. Adult beverages NOT included. Child's meal includes beverage.

Anyhow, please let me know on the admission price. And here's my master plan. We will each have 7 credits each day for snack, CS and TS. Tell me if this works....

Day #1. Arrive at hotel, have some lunch, go swimming then attend the MNSSHP at night. We will use a CS credit towards Cosmic Rays.

Day #2. Epcot. TS credit towards the character breakfast in Norway
CS credit towards Liberty Inn
snack credit
Ts credit towards Le Cellier

Day #3. Sea World. (I know none of the DDP counts here)

Day #4. Animal Kingdom. TS credit towards character breakfast
snack credit
TS credit towards Fantasmic Package

Day #5. Typhoon Lagoon. Breakfast at Hotel (OOP)
CS credit towards Leaning Palms
snack credit
TS credit towards Chef Mickeys (at night)

Day #6. Magic Kingdom. TS credit towards character breakfast Crystal Palace
CS credit towards Pecos Bills
Ts credit towards character dinner Crystal Palace
snack credit

Day #7. Universal (I know non of this counts either)

Does this work? It sounds like a boat load of food. WOW

It means that it doesn't include admission to the park. Do you have hopper passes? Since you'll be at AK in the morning that day, you'll need to be able to hop over to MGM for the Fantasmic dinner package. I noticed that is the only time you have alloted for MGM. Are you not interested in the rides/attractions at MGM? Because you most likely won't have time for much more than you dinner and Fantasmic that evening (depending on what time your reservation is). Have a great trip!

OH, I also wanted to mention that if you plan on eating at the Brown Derby, that takes 2 TS credits. You have some CS credits leftover, but not TS. So you would either need to cancel another of your sit-down meals and use a CS instead in order to fit in Brown Derby, or you will have to use Hollywood and Vine or Mama Melrose for your Fantasmic package instead.

Although I am an only-one-TS-meal-per-day kind of person, I think you picked out some great places! Are you staying for 6 or 7 nights, maslex? From your "schedule," it looks like 6 nights, yet you noted that you will all have 7 TS, and so on. Just wanted to make sure you knew that the dining plan goes by the number of nights you are there. Anywhooo...have a fantastic adventure!!

Thanks Dena for the tips. Okay, now I understand that it's admission to the park. Yeah, we'll have park hoppers. And no, we're not interested in going to MGM for anything other than dinner/Fantasmic. Actually we're weren't going to go at all but then decided that since AK closes early we would pop over to MGM and eat at Sci-Fi then Fantasmic. But then I just saw somewhere about the Fantasmic dining plan and decided to do that instead. And I think we'd do probably H&V. (Or Mama Melrose's---depends on what hubby will eat, he's picky)
