I am trying to put together a WDW Behind the Scenes trip for some of my high school students. We are doing the Disney YES program, which looks really great.
These kids have nothing...and I mean nothing, so we need to do some fundraising. I'm looking for any fun and creative ideas y'all may have.
Here are our 2 primary ideas so far:
My class is Television Production, so we will be hosting after school movie days. A bunch of students have band or athletic practice that doesn't start until 5 or so. So, we will sell snacks and then provide a free movie to give them something to do while they are waiting for their practice to start. Our profit comes from the homemade goodies and drinks.
Pampered Chef...I have teamed with a wonderful PC rep who is donating her commission in addition to the PC donation, so we will make 30% on all sales. I love this idea because it it something people actually want to buy...not just something they will purchase because they want to help out a kid.
Any more creative ideas out there??? These kids are awesome and they so want to go, but cash is definitely a huge factor...as it is for all of us when we plan our trips!!!
