Need route suggestains from Lawton, ok to Orlando

In the past we have traveled from Shrevport staight down I 40 to I-10. Then to I-75 to Disney.

I was considering the route that goes east of Shreveport to Jackson Ms. Then to US 40, I-59, to
US 98. From there I get on I-10 then to I75 to Orlando.

Mapquest has the first route as 968 miles to take just over 15 hours. The second route as 904 mi to take over 17 hours.

Has anyone taken the second route?

I-30 thru DFW, I-49 from Shreveport down to I-10, across to I-75 in FL south to Ocala then FL-48/91 to "the world"

1343 miles, approx. 20 hrs of driving . . . sheesh, but then just getting to a major airport must be a pain.
