I'm a DVC member & there are no rooms onsite Disney for this time.

Can anyone suggest a close hotel that a women & 2 kids (8 & 12) can stay & feel safe.

Need close access to parks/downtime Disney.

Don't want a car - will just need transportation from airpot.

Any info appreciated.

If you can afford over $100 a night I would look at Homewood Suites or Embassy Suites both in Lake Buena Vista...this would give you room for the kids and a space for you, a nice free breakfast and you will be close to the East entrance to Disney by the Marketplace.

If just a really nice room will do, I would suggest Sierra Suites in Lake Buena Vista...these are nice one room suites with a pull out couch and again a great location

Check out the post just above on the Homewood Suites "just returned"

Enjoy...Ted

the shuttle service at the airport will take you where you want - for a price.

there are alots of cheap and nice places to stay in Kissimmee - Kissimmee is further from the airport so the free with the shuttles, taxis, towncar - whatever you use will be more.

LaQuinta Lakeside - older hotel but still nice - use to be the Sheraton

LaQuinta Maingate - new hotel opened in the last couple of years

here are some sites for discount rates - each hotel has a different rate on a different site

www.hotelkingdom.com
www.hotelmartusa.com

they also have the Hyatt Grand Cypress - if you can afford it - go for this one!!!

We stayed at the Hilton DTD and it was extremely clean and comfortable!
