Our family will be visiting Sea World Orlando and was wondering if someone who's been there or is familiar with the attraction would be kind enough to list the recommended rides and the shows in each of the Parks?

Our girls are 13 & 11 and we'd like to know which rides or shows can be skipped over the better, more fun rides and shows at those Parks for our daughters. Would be great if we knew which shows should have priority over the others while at the Park. Thank you for your time and courtesy.

I haven't been to Discovery Cove or Aquatica, but my 11 year old niece and I just got back from Orlando and spent 2 days at Seaworld.

Her list:
1) Kraken - went on twice by herself
2) Shamu
3) Feeding/petting dolphins
4) Feeding/petting stingrays
5) Polar Expedition including petting a penguin
6) Clyde and Seamore show
7) Blue Horizons
8) Journey to Atlantis
9) Clydesdales
10) Shark Encounter

My list
1) Shamu
2) Feeding/petting dolphins
3) Feeding/petting stingrays
4) Polar Expedition Tour
5) Clyde and Seamore
6) Manatees
7) Shark Encounter
8) Penguins
9) Blue Horizons
10) Journey to Atlantis

MontanaZoo, thank you so much for your reply. Your niece being an 11 year old, her list surely will come in good use for our girls as we compose our list of shows/rides for the Park. Truly appreciate it!

Although I've never been a thirteen year old girl, something tells me that girls that age would really like the Pets Ahoy show.

One thing we didn't do that my niece was DYING to do was take the big pink swans out on the lake. Some sort of paddleboat things. I knew that we had a lot more to see and pushed on but she looked at them enviously whenever she could see them.

I don't mind roller coasters usually and I've gone on Expedition Everest twice, but Kraken terrifies me with the no floors, really high, multiple corkscrews...they can go by themselves and you can watch them since there's a place to stand right where the Kraken cars take off. A lot of people I was standing with said that their family members were waiting to get in the front so that they'd be able to get pictures of them. I waited by the photos for her to come out of the exit.

If you are there when the park opens you can go to every show easily and all are a lot of fun. !st thing go immediately back to Dolphin area and buy food and feed dolphins at 9:15-the trainers say the dolphins are more active then because they haven't been around people for 12 hours and its less crowded (Later on you may wait in line for an hour ) THen go on the 2 big rides when lines are 10 minutes long and not 45 minutes long. Of course everyone loves Shamu-we do the last show of the day, but our favorite was the dolphn show. HAve fun!!

Thanks for such great tips! I'll be sure to have our girls feed the dolphins when we get there nice & early.
