We are thinking of eating here on our upcoming trip and were hopeing for some reviews. Thanks Ron...

Great restaurant! :) Our favorite so far.
Best to get PS.
I can't imagine being disappointed in a meal at CdF.
DH says awesome salads.
Also check out: Crepe au Gruyere et champignons - crepe filled with creamy gruyere cheese and mushrooms $6.50

We get our dessert around the corner in the french bakery.
The best table service I have EVER had was at Chefs de France. I still remember her name -- Nadine. :) I have made sure to compliment her in letters to WDW.
We are so impressed by CdF, we are eating at the Bistro next time. Heard it is even better!

I agree great restaurant!

A wonderful restaurant. We booked it as part of the CP dining package two years ago and ate dinner there on Christmas Day. We enjoyed it so much, we're doing the same this year!

One of the best on site, along with the Bistro out back. I don't think you can go wrong. Last trip we even took a finicky eater with us and she didn't have any problems at all. Ask for what you want. If it has a sauce on it and you don't want the sauce the chef will be more than happy to make that way.

chezp--same here! We loved it so much, we're doing it again this year. Delicious food, and left the wine selection up to the waiter. He made a good choice!

We are also eating there following the CP as well this year on the 29th. It is great to hear such good things.:D

I am going against the grain a bit. We ate there last year for CP package and were disappointed. Service was lackluster and food tasted bland and as though it had been prepared ahead of time and reheated. Generally I am quite pleased with most of the restaurants, but this is one exception. I would never be inclined to eat there again, especially given the high prices. There are many better alternatives.

We love this restaurant!

Just back. Went to Chef De France last Wednesday. Sorry to say the gruyere crepes weren't on the menu, I wanted to try them. BUT, they have a flat bread with creme fraiche, onions and bacon. EXCELLENT. The onion soup was also perfect. We had the sauteed chicken and lamb shanks as our entree. They were both good. I only wish we had split the entree. The two appetizers spoiled our appetite for the entrees. Too Much Food. Our service was very good.

Have a great meal,
Kim

We went for lunch. Started ofcourse with the rolls that you are given...........oh man, absolutely wonderful.....warm,soft inside, crusty outside. Next......onion soup. My husband and I order onion soup wherever we go. This was one of the best, if not THE best we've had. Next...... quiche lorraine. WoW! My DH is also a quiche lover. This one melted in your mouth. I tried getting the recipe, but no go.

This was the third time we've eaten at this restaurant. Every time has been better than before. I realize sometimes restaurants have an off day. But when I've eaten at a restaurant three times, and every time it has been great, I consider that a good restaurant. Plain and simple.

We have eaten there several times. Only one bad experience. Its a nice place in a nice location. If you are looking for the "french" experience this is the choice.

Ohhh if you liked Chefs, you should REALLY like the Bistro!! And besides the fine food, the service at the Bistro is even better, if you can believe it, than downstairs. It's a beautiful restaurant too! And they have (or had, in July) some of the best desserts I've ever had, anywhere!
