We are staying at BLT for the first time in November, and I would really like some help with restaurants on the monorail.
We usually stay at AKL, and we normally fork out a small fortune in cabs getting around to all the restaurants- so this is a real treat for us!
So far I have this planned:
Wednesday Night (our arrival): The Wave :thumbsup2
Thursday Night: O'hana (so excited, we love this place! :cool1:)
FRIDAY NIGHT: UP IN THE AIR
Saturday Night: California Grill (date night!)
Sunday Night: Whispering Canyon Cafe (pig out night :dance3:)

Anyone have any suggestions? We need a restaurant for the 5 of us (me, hubbster, parents and my 8 month old)- Maybe we should try Artist Point?

Please advise...thanks Disney Buddies!!!

Maybe look at GF Cafe. We had a great lunch there last year. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere and strolling around the grounds of the GF is nice.

Artist point is really good....We also enjoyed Lunch at Kona Cafe at the poly.
:thumbsup2

I'd second the GF Cafe. It was the best meal we had last trip. In fact it is one of the few that we visit more than once each trip.

At Poly:

OHana's is great for meat eaters - a very good meal!
We love Kona's for breakfast too!

At Grand Floridian:

Narcooses's is very good.
Grand Floridian Cafe is good for a quick meal

Contemporary Resort:

California Grill is great for viewing fireworks and the food is fantastic!

Artist Point is part of the Contemporary loop since you can take a boat there. It's my favorite restaurant on property. Our most recent dinner here was 2 days ago, and it was amazing. The cedar plank salmon is great, as were the appetizers and desserts. Plus, the atmosphere is very tranquil and serene.

It really depends on what you are looking for are you on the DDP?~ the remaining restaurants on the monorail loop and area (WL and FW) are:

Hoop Dee Doo Revue at FW (dinner show~ awesome!)
Trail's End at FW if you want country style buffet
Artist Point at WL, llike you mentioned, Signature Dining
Spirit of Aloha Luau at Polynesian (dinner show)
Kona Cafe at Polynesian for casual dining similar genre of food as 'Ohana
Grand Floridian Cafe at GF for casual dining, American food
Citricos at GF, Signature Dining
Narcoossee's at GF, Signature Dining, seafood
1900 Park Fare at GF, character dining
Chef Mickey's at Contemporary, character dining

If you are looking for a Signature Dining experience, other than California Grill, Citricos is my favorite.
Something extra in the budget of money and time and a great experience, I would say Hoop Dee Doo.
Casual? Grand Floridian Cafe, since you will already be doing 'Ohana
Fun character? Chef Mickey

Another vote for Artist Point. It is so nice walking to the dock and taking the launch over the WL for dinner. That is going to be our last nights dinner when we go in September. Also love to stop by Territory Lounge for a drink before dinner.

Thank you all for the great advice-

I think we are going for Artist Point. The menu looks insane, there are so many items I would like to try!- and I look forward to taking the boat over. That sounds fun!
