Need Restaurant Recommendations!!!

Cast of Characters: Me, DH, DD9, DD6, DD4, DS2

1) For each park: Favorite TS and CS?
2)Favorite character meal (for food and interaction)?
3) Favorite resort/DTD restaurants TS or CS?
4) Where to take DD for her 10th birthday birthday?

We won't spend a lot of time doing TS with 4 kids, but want to try a few and at least one or two character meals (prefer breakfast/brunch but will try a lunch/dinner if the food is good and price is reasonable). We will be there for 2 weeks in a condo so several meals will be eaten there.

Favourites:
AK: TS-Yak and Yeti
CS- Contrary to popular opinion we disliked Flame Tree BBQ

MK: Have only done Cinderella's Castle lunch for sit down. It was a one time experience for us, food was so-so, but princesses were very sweet.
CS: Love Cosmic Ray's

HS: TS- Have only done 50's PT, it was okay
CS- not much to choose from, nothing great

Epcot- IMO the best place to eat, never had a bad meal, table or counter here, so much to choose from even if everyone wants something different. Our favourite is Le Cellier, which is our very favourite overall.

For character meals we have done Chef Mickey's for breakfast and dinner, Tusker House for breakfast, 1900 Park fare for Breakfast and dinner and crystal Palace for breakfast. Overall they are all great, it depends what characters your kids are into. The food at Crystal Palace was my favourite (puffed french toast!!)

My favourite meal at a resort is 'Ohana for dinner.

Forget DTD....Wolfgang Puck Express is delicious!

For good food and great characters it would be 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters can't be beat for entertainment value. They never ever step out of character. Make sure you try the strawberry soup.

We have several favorites.

AK TS - Tusker House lunch

DHS TS- SciFI
DHS CS- Pizza Planet

MK TS Crytal Palace
MK CS Cosmic Rays

Epcot TS San Angel Inn or Garden grill
Epcot CS Sunshine Fair or Fish & Chips place beside Rose & Crown

Most of our favorite character meals are breakfasts - Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus, Cape May Cafe, Chef Mickeys,Ohana

Favorite charater lunch - Crystal Palace or Akershus


We usually ask the kids which characters they wanted to "eat with" & chose from there.

DS usually has his breakday while we are at WDW. We let him choose where we eat & we order him a cake to be delivered to the table.

They don't know we are going and if we do tell them prior to boarding the plane, they definitely won't know at 180 days out for ADRs.
