Pixie Dust, I hope you get this contract. It's especially good that you get the same UY, we did that with our VB resale, and things are just that much easier to manage.

220 banked points currently available which need to be used by 9/1/05 and 220 coming on 9/1/05 . Priced at $75 per point.
I believe this is the contract at TTS, correct? Does this mean there are no current points?

I'm just wondering(anyone can answer) why there would be banked points and future points, but no current points. Why does someone bank 2003 points, then use 2004 points before the banked 2003 points?

Just curious.:teeth:

Yes, you are correct. There are no current points (bummer)!! The only reason I can see this happening is if someone transfers points into another person's account. Based on the rules I just read, you cannot transfer banked points. If anyone can think of any other reason...please chime in!!

When the seller originally purchased this contract, the 2003 points may have already been banked. Since these points aren't available until the new use year, the sellers would have had to borrow their 2004 points in order to book a vacation. We have encountered this with several of the contract we've purchased. In one instance, we purchased a contract (Oct use year) that had all the 2003 points banked; these would not be available until October 2004. However, if we wanted to book a reservation prior to October 1, we would have to borrow the 2004 points to do so. Hope this helps!!

To everyone who wished me well...thanks, but just LOOK at what has happened to me!!

I got a contract at TTS for 220 pts, then my friend called and urged me to purchase his contract. I got off the waitlist (which I had been on for several months), cancelled my 220 point contract (which immediately sold), and then received a call from my friend that they had re-evaluated their finances and decided not to sell. I am SOO happy for them that they no longer need to sell...but, I have lost another contract, and am now off the waitlist!! I just keep thinking that maybe God is trying to tell me something...maybe I am just not supposed to buy right now!!! I cannot believe VWL contracts are so hard to find!!!

Anyway...I just wanted to say "thanks" to all the wonderful people who are still "rooting" for me to get a contract!!! I will let you know if anything comes up!!!

I feel so bad for you on one hand, but on the other hand have to compliment you on having one of the best attitudes I've ever witnessed. To be happy for your friend because he no longer needs to sell is very impressive and shows far more kindness and generosity than I could muster on my best day. Maybe you didn't get a contract but I wish more people had what you have in kindness and empathy Good luck on the add on. It will happen.

Beca, I am so sorry to hear that things are not working out in your quest for a VWL contract! I'm sending you a PM about a VWL listing that I ran across. It may be above the number of points you're looking for (and the price that goes with it) but it has an August use year and all 2004 points are available. This is through a private party.

When you score, baby, it's gonna be a great contract!!

I can't believe the way timing seems to be working against you! Leave it to you, Beca, to see the sunny side. There must be a VERY wonderful contract waiting for you out there because no one deserves it more. Feel that pixie dust raining on you?

Hi Becca-

This was just not a good week for us contract wise. I'm sending you a pm with some links.

Thanks, guys!!! You are all SOOO nice, and always seem to cheer me up!!! I really appreciate all the :grouphug:!!!!

I keep telling myself that in the big picture, not getting a particular contract is NOT that big of a deal!!! To be able to afford one is an amazing luxury, and to have a healthy family to share it with is simply beyond words!! I think of Lisa Hyams and her daughter...and, realize what I think of as problems aren't really problems...I am WONDERFULLY blessed!!!! I just need to look at this as shopping is half the fun...now, I have more time to do just that!!!!

Love to you all...you are very sweet!!!
