Hi all,

I have to decide in the next few weeks whether I’m canceling xxxxxxxx (details removed) . I’m not sure if the dates are going to work out for me and in order not to miss my banking deadline for these points I need to cancel by end of July.

I may be interested in renting, or preferably transferring, these points to someone. I’ve only transferred once, so want to clarify. If I transfer them to someone now, would they be able to bank them? Alternatively, if I bank them now, would I be able to transfer them to someone next year? I’m pretty sure transferred points aren’t bankable, but not sure of the details.

Many thanks!

I removed details from your post which included dates and home resort. You can transfer points from your current UY and the next one. The receiver can then bank the points for use later,

The points retain their UY once transferred. Based on your post and banking deadline it seems as though you have a Dec UY…so, you can transfer both 2022 and 2023 UY points right now.

Oops, sorry about the details! Yes, Dec use year. If I do bank those points now into the following use year can those banked pts still be transferred (after I bank them) for use by the recipient in the following year?

Thanks for the help.

Once banked, they can no longer be transferred. You can only transfer points that have not been borrowed or banked.
