Nope, haven't dealt with them. I usually rent directly from the owners using the particular subdivision owners site or vrbo.com , homeaway.com , fabvillas.com. When you rent from the owner you can pick the subdivision you want and the see the exact home you'll be getting so that you'll know the floorplan, amenities, bed situation etc. Also you can get a better price from the owners, no middleman.
Some of the closest to Disney are in the Formosa Gardens / Windsor Hills area.
There's a ton of homes to choose from so shop around till you find the one you want. Here's a couple of maps to show you where the subdiv. are.

We used orlandopoolhomes for our first trip in 2005. While the experience was not horrible, it was very disapointing.

We had reserved a home many, many months in advance. We selected the home based on our needs and because of the subdivision the home was located in. Upon our late night arrival, we had to pick up keys and directions to the home at a lockbox located at the management office. We expected this, but what we did not expect was that the keys and directions were to a completely different home than the one we reserved. The home was in a subdivision we were not familiar with. (Please note, in the fineprint on the rental agreement, orlando pool homes does specify that you will not always get a specific home.) But we also made several calls and emails to orlandopoolhomes up to the day of of departure, all the while being assured our reservation was set for the home we desired. In fact, a couple of days prior to departure we were sent more pictures of the home we had chosen(we had already mapped our routes from the home to WDW, supermarkets, etc)

Upon our late night arrival to the home, we were shocked to find there was no soap in the home and no toilet paper :scared1:

We had also paid for pool heating for 10 days but had to make several calls to the management company over the first two days to get it turned on. To this day, we are still waiting to be reimbursed for the two days of pool heating which we paid for and never received.

In my opinion, the customer service which was great when booking the home, upon our arrival became poor, with a "oh well" attitude to greet each call we made to them.

Maybe our experience with orlandopoolhomes is not representative of the way they do business and was just an abberation. But since that time, we have rented directly from the owner of a home and have had great experiences.

We have stayed in this home and plan to do so again in 2008. The owners are fantastic to deal with and truly care about your vacation experience in their home. http://www.vacation-heaven-florida.com/ I cannot say enough good things about them or the home.

We have also used these 2 sites, and have gotten direct responses from the owners of homes.

Thank you for that reply. I didn't feel right with little thumbnail pictures being emailed to me. Couldn't see everything that well. They said the website was being redesigned. We went with someone else where the key is in a lockbox right at the house. No office to go pick up the key from. It's not right next to Disney but I don't mind a little drive.:)
