Need recommendations for a point and shoot user friendly camera:

We need a new camera and need some opinions about cameras that are easy to use and take great pictures on automatic and that have great stabilization. We'd like it to take great shots all lighting, have a good zoom and also be able to take pictures of large buildings etc. Does such a camera exist?
