Need recipes for my new Le creuset 5 qt pan

I didn't know there was one of these threads on the dis boards - where have I been. I mainly only visit the budget board I guess I need to get out more and explore.

So back to topic, I'd love any recipes that anyone could share, I previously had no need for one of these pans before hanging out on these boards, but now that I have one I have no idea what I should cook in it.

A very big casserole! Will you be able to lift it when full thgough? I have trouble with the small one I have (only holds enough for 2-3 epople )

A 5 qt pan? Do you mean a Dutch Oven? There are so many things you can make in them. I use mine all the time. I use it for stews, pot roast, soups and big batches of pasta sauce.

Le Creuset is great for braising because you can sear the meat (and brown the vegetables) on your cooktop, then transfer it to the oven to cook "low and slow".

I recently made Ina Garten's (The Barefoot Contessa) recipe for Beef Bourguignon; it was fantastic. I want to try coq au vin soon.

I would think that just about any slow cooker recipe can be modified for use in a Le Creuset. (I don't use my slow cooker often, so I can't speak firsthand on how to do this.)

There are also some recipes available now for "no knead" breads; to make them, you have to preheat your Le Creuset empty and then put the dough in and bake it. Haven't tried this yet, but one of these days!
