HI guys,

My Best friend and her family are going down for Easter... ( I tried to convince her not to bc of the crowds....) but anyway she needs to know if she can use tickets purchased by her MIL who lives in Florida. She knows her MIL will need to go to DW and buy them, but does the MIL need to be there for her to use.

HEr MIL was planning on driving there tomorrow......

Really hoping for the right answers...

Thanks

I"m not an expert at this - I'm only replying because you haven't heard anything yet. From what I've understood, only a FL resident can use the FL resident discounted tickets. I'm not sure how they know (I think maybe they scan your finger right away, and after that you're the only one who can use the ticket). Sorry to disappoint, but I dont' think there's a way getting around paying for regular tickets by having a FL resident buy them for you. Not 100% sure, though.

op is correct...everyone would need to show a valid FL picture id card to use a FL resident pass

No can do. She CAN buy an Annual Pass for the grandchildren to use when they're with her, but she can't buy FL Resident passes for non-residents to use, even if they're related. Gotta show ID. Sorry.
