Need quick insurance help...

I was so excited last week to grab a SPH room for our 2010 cruise-that I forgot about the reality of my situation for a moment. My brother was diagnosed with mesothelioma in November. He seems fine right now-but I'm not sure about February next year. Is there an insurance that will cover my trip-I will be his sole care giver-so, if he needs me-I'll need to cancel the trip. I know DCL insurance doesn't cover this as we had the same problem when my other brother had cancer during our first cruise. Thanks

It depends on when you put your deposit down, most companies will cover preexisting conditions if it is within 14 days of your deposit. I have a similar situation, a 75 year old mom on oxygen.. whose health is ok now, but could turn at any time... so I booked a "cancel for any reason" policy thru Travel Insured International.
