Need purse ideas for 14yo goddaughter

I'm gonna put in one more opinion. The pink squishy one is very *in* right now, that look. Hence why Coach has it in their Spring line. You're going to see other lines come out with that look.

If she is indeed a girly-girl, it's not going to be considered babyish. I think the classic C one's, look old ladyish, for a girly-girl.

JMO....

My DDs are 13 & 16, both polar opposites in taste. The pink bag wouldn't appeal to either of them -- and it's not the style among teens in this area either. From past threads I've seen about Veras and other types of purses it seems to really depend on the area as far as what's "in".

What's funny is I really love the black/gray/silver Coach that another poster linked above -- and so do both of my girls. It's either a late or very early Christmas miracle!

Thanks, everyone. Believe me, I have no personal desire for a purse of this type, but I remember being that age and getting a gift like that, something my parents would never have bought me that made me feel "grown up". That's what I'm trying to give her (if that makes any sense!). I don't want to mention where she lives, but let's just say it's a quite wealthy suburb of a major midwestern city, so she would like to "fit in" in a way that I can't even imagine.

I'm sending my DM to the coach outlet this weekend with her cellphone camera at the ready so we can discuss what we should buy. Love all the ideas, thanks all!
