Manicurist seems to have nicked my big toe and it is very sore. Started with anti bacterial stuff on toe already and will go to the doctor if it isn't any better tmw or Thursday or if it gets worse. Pray that I can get it under control and not end up with the possible complications.

Big hugs and toe mercies coming your way. Mom has diabetes so any cut is very serious so I understand. Hopefully it will heal fast.

You got it. That's why as a diabetic I only get my fingers done and not my feet. I worry about that happening to me.

I won't be getting my toes done again at this place and probably will only get them done at my doctor's from now on. The risk is too high. I want to keep my feet intact. Thirty years with diabetes and I still have my toes and I want to keep them to my dying day.

My mother has claws for toenails but we are waiting for a new podiatrist to arrive at the medical center where Dr. Wong iis at. I wont cut her claws. At least a podiatrist has the proper tools and understands how dangerous a cut or bruise can be for diabetics.

God gave us toes for some reason and I want to keep mine even the pinkie toes that are on sideways, lol. Wow 30 years of diabetes. 3 years with mom and I still not sure if I am doing it right. Wait the interns had to send my mother home because they could not control her diabetes. She crashed for the first times in a year except for when she was eating beans.
