DS's school is having a potluck dinner for the 2nd & 3rd graders and their families this Thursday. I have no idea what I'm going to take.

:D Please post your favorite potluck recipes, that kids will eat. :D

Lasagna, Shrimp Casserole, or Baked Nachos would be some things I would make. Also desserts.

Macaroni and cheese!!:D I cook a box of elbow macaroni as directed on the box and in a 9x13 inch lightly greased glass dish, I layer the macaroni and shredded cheddar. In between the layers, sprinkle with powdered mustard, salt, and pepper. Pour milk evenly around so that it comes about half-way up the side of the dish. Then bake for about 90 minutes in a 350 degree oven or until evenly browned. This was my DM's recipe for covered dish and it would always be gone in a flash!

Green salads are always in great demand at potlucks. Moms are usually looking for something a bit less starchy, so I often make a nice green salad.
