I just want to thank everyone for all the tips and pointers! A wonderful Santa gave me a great deal since they just wanted someone to use it. So we will be on our way to the happiest place on earth in Jan.

Please clarify for me if you are looking for DVC points or pointers on where to stay cheaply. I don't think you will find anywhere onsite for that money for 6 nights. I wish you well and hope you can find availability somewhere through Expedia or Priceline

The rack rate for Value resorts for your time period is $82 per night, plus taxes. If you have a AAA membership, you might be able to get your room at a discount. If your budget of $450 is firm, you might need to stay off-site the first and/or last night. You could check in at the resort in the morning and hit the parks using Disney transportation.

If you are looking for DVC points to rent, you can check the DVC board to see if anyone is offering them.

Even an OKW studio (sleeps 4) at that time (the lowest cost for DVC points) would be 72 points or roughly $720.
