Help. I have been doing low carb since may 03. I have lost 40 pounds!!!:sunny: Now I have not lost any weight for a month. I am still maintaining the low carb lifestyle, but looking for a "slump buster" . Any success stories encouraged

What do you think you can add to do differently?? Maybe walk and extra half mile or drink 16 more ounces of water a day, or cut your carbs back again. I know too that by measuring, even if I don't loose as much weight, the inches still go off, so I don't feel like I'm in a slump. Good luck and keep trying, you'll be happy with any results.:hyper:

I have had some plateaus along the way, too. At 30, around especially at ~70 poind. This last one was 6 weeks! I hope yours resolves itself much fatser!

Be careful about cutting back too far on fat in your diet. I know I stopped eating salad dressing, cut back on fats, etc, and I think that might have contributed to the plateau. I have heard that if you go too low in fat your body starts to thinks it's starving, and your metabolism goes down.

Don't give up! After that 6 week stall, I have slowly slid into "one-derland" (under 200 pounds) and am still SLOWLY losing! You can do it!

Hi VWL'sownBeastn'Belle Welcome to WISH, I'm really glad to see you here. You received some great advice, so far.

Will you be taking the WISH challenge and joining us? I sure hope so, I would love to have another low carber in my support group :)
