Need planning help with Disney parades, PLEASE!

What is the path for the Spectromagic parade? Is it the same as the afternoon parade?

Also, where’s the best place to watch both (or is it different for each one)? We won’t be able to wait 2 hours beforehand to get a good spot, so would like hints for an “okay” one about 30 min. before maybe?

Same path different direction, spectro starts at main st and ends at frontierland, less busy spots will be nearer frontierland but will obviously mean a later end to the day for you, one of the best areas to view is above the main street entrance sort of by the railway station but this does get busy early, I don't think you'll find a really good spot anywhere unless you make plans to get there early.

Like carolfoy said, it is the same path but different direction. We sat in frontierland and only got there about 20 minutes early. There were people claiming their spot down main st, etc around 7:00 and I didn't want to waste my time just sitting and waiting for the parade to start. We still had a great seat up front and our kids loved it!
