Need Planning Help: OKW availability Nov. 2007

Looks like we will be doing a family trip to OKW next mid-Nov. I will book a GV at 11 months. I will also need another GV or a 2 bedroom lock-off and a studio. (The latter configuration would allow more flexibility in dropping a room in the event that one or more of the 3 potential moms is too pregnant to fly.) I can borrow points at 11 months, but because I did not anticipate this trip I did not bank my OKW points this year, so I will need to use some BWV points. Will a 2 bedroom and a studio be available at the 7 month window at OKW? Anyone get one of those this year inside 7 months?
My other alternatives:
1). Call MS to see if it would be possible to reallocate points from my March, 2007 OKW trip (bank my 2006 OKW points and borrow 2007 BWV points for the March trip). While this would give me enough OKW points, it would only be allowable if there is currently a 2 bedroom available at OKW for March 18 - 30, and that my be doubtful.
2). Do a waiting list, if necessary. Probably a pretty good chance if I book at exactly 7 months, but I REALLY would not want to have some folks end up at another resort if the waitlist failed.
3). Post on Rent/Trade Board for someone willing to trade ressies. This could be pretty messy.
Other ideas out there???

I am a little nervous about using banked and borrowed points in the event that I end up having to cancel a room or 2. Our last family trip (2 years ago) came off without any cancellations, although we had one 7 months pregnant. 11 month planning is sure tough when human gestation is 9 months! Also, mom (who is NOT going) is 85 and anything is possible there... I hate to tempt the fates by trying this again, but we had SUCH a good time 2 years ago!

I bet you would not have a problem getting a two bedroom and studio at exactly 7 months.

I don't think they can reallocate your points without cancelling your reservation and making a new reservation.

Jean, as long as you aren't trying for Thanksgiving week, you should be fine. We have been trying to decide if we need a GV or a 2 bedroom and a studio for The week of Thanksgiving. I think we are going to book both at the 11 month window and drop any of them if we need to later on. I think if you book the GV at 11 months you should have no trouble getting the others later.

BTW, you probably wouldn't mind having to drop a studio or so if it means a new grandchild!

Thanks, Deb and Diane! I called MS and there was a 2 bedroom available at OKW Mar. 18 - 30, so I could cancel my current reservation using OKW points and rebook using borrowed BWV points, then bank my OKW points into 2007. But if both of you think that I have a good shot at a 2 bedroom and a studio at 7 months, I think I will go with that. DH has lots of health stuff going on right now and if I have to cancel my March trip I would rather not have used borrowed points. Sometimes you just have to trust that things will work out. This will be our FIRST GV, so I hope that the pieces do come together! And, yes, a new baby (or 2 or 3!) WOULD be worth a little point jockeying!

I had no problem getting 2 2 bedrooms and a 1 bedroom at the 7 month window at OKW this year. We were there from 11/5 - 11/10. I don't think I would choice that time again, it was very crowded with it being Election and Veteran's Day that week and from what I had heard also Jersey Week. It may not be an offical time but I think everyone from New Jersey decides to go that week.

And osprey84, I think there are just so many people from NJ who go to WDW that it always is Jersey week. I know about the Teachers' Convention, but no matter the time of year, when we've gone to the Shrine for Mass on Sunday, if the priest asks "Who is from NJ?" the church just explodes with clapping.
