Strange request, but I was wondering if anyone who was on the May 21st-24th Wonder cruise have any pictures of the child being taken off the boat for medical emergency? I am her mother and I am having a hard time convincing the trip insurance company to not only refund mine and my daughter's trip interuption refund, but also my mother's who was on the ship with us. Unfortunately, because of the way the tendor (or tugboat) was positioned against the Wonder my mother could not get on the tugboat due to physical limitations. We were forced to leave her behind on the boat to fend for herself while my daughter and I were sent ashore, and onto Miami.
Their position is that since she stayed on the boat, she finished her cruise. Right, she stayed in her room worried to death as to what was happening to her grandchild! I thought if I could show that it was a difficult disembarkment even for a physically fit person it might help our case.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. My daughter is recovering well, and I want to give big kudos to Disney, the ship's medical facilities and the crew for all that they did.
