Need Park Tickets To Book FP+?

I knew this and have simply forgotten the rule (I've had a lot going on)....

I am DVC and have my room booked (without any package). I am going to purchase the annual pass. Waiting to put off the expense I little longer.

Can I book 60 days out with just the room reservation or do I need to link tickets first?

You definitely need a ticket to book your Fastpasses.
