Wow, 5 years--a lot's changed, but one thing hasn't, and that's the advantage of doing RD. IMHO it's still the best way to avoid long lines.

I assume you have your FP+ already? If not, you'll want to do that now.

Expect bigger crowds than in 2010, even if the crowd levels are the same. From our experience, even a "1" now is not the same as a "1" from 2010.

You'll also probably have longer wait times at non-headliner attractions. So maybe you're not doing quite as much as you've done on previous trips--you just have to manage expectations. You can still have a great time--have fun!

For FP advice, you may find the green link in my signature helpful. Much has changed since your last visit.

Take advantage of FP+. Standby wait times have changed and the addition of FP for rides that didn't have it before has contributed to that. We rarely used the old FP system since the the tickets were often gone when we got to the machines or return times did not fit our plans. Different World now.

I am going the same day just a little over 72 hours

I took about 15 years off between trips and now I can not get enough I am going about once every 4 to 6 weeks

some advice for you if you can make rop drop do it take a break in the afternoon and rest

since you have a small child and if you are not alone then you can do rider swap and enjoy some of the rides your child can not do.

@mesaboy2 I was looking for the link too. I have friends coming down in December and they didn't make their FP+ yet. They are going with CM and I guess they can't make theirs until 10 days out? I wanted to give them the link. I figured I didn't see the link yesterday because I was on my phone and I don't see signatures when I view from there. But I'm not seeing it on my laptop either.

Are you aware of babyswap for attractions? The Babycare centers are great for changing diapers on a full sized changing table. Allow for some down time. If you are just going for the day on the 16th will your child nap in a stroller at the park? Which park are you going to?

My advice:

1. Frequent the DISboards!
2. Learn the acronyms :)

Tons of info on here. Specific questions are almost always answered.
