Need paint color help!

I saw one of the decorating people do an accent wall in bright orange yesterday. She painted some white branches on it so match a single orange pillow on the bed. There were other pillows in black and white.

What about a single bright accent wall, usually behind the bed? I too like grey for the other walls but it might be too cool for a teen girl. You could always do white with an accent wall and lots of pillows, lamps and stuff to bring the color to the rest of the room.

Have fun.

She currently has a lamp (wood base) that is purple with a flower shade. I plan on painting the base same color as the wall and then getting a new fun shade.

I may end up doing one accent wall (the wall her bed is against) and going more "neutral" for the other walls. That way, the room as a whole doesn't look so wild.

I'm leaning toward turquoise, just because her desk and chair are turquoise, so I think that would look cute. We're still discussing. :)

I would go with stark white. It may seem boring, but then you coudl have so much fun with accessories. Just think about doing huge pink and black dots on the white background. http://www.shopping.com/pink-circle-wall-decals/products?sb=1

Black curtains, throw rugs. Black lamps with hot pink shade etc.

If you do a bold color on the walls then bold accessories the room can go "crazy" instead of fun IMO.

We can't do decals on the walls, because of the heavy texture.

This is a tough one, but I would have to go with white walls. Even though I dislike white walls, you already have a very bold and wild design going on. I would add a large funky shaped mirror or other pictures to the walls. My daughter has a hot pink area rug that we bought at Target. It may still be there..

It is. We saw it yesterday. :) She wants a zebra rug (also at Target) but Mom thinks that's a bit much. ;)

in this pic...it shows a bed set with similar colors... the walls are painted in a two tone; white on bottom and light pinky beige on top..I think it looks great.

I love the pinky beige. Personally, that's the way I'd go - and then ramp up the turquoise accents!

I'm not a fan of super bright walls. I prefer more muted walls and the ability to easily switch up the accesories.

what about painting it a lighter shade of pink?

My daughter has an EXTREMELY similar bedroom set and her walls are a very pale pink. Looks very nice. Wall hangings in her room that also complement the set well are shades of aqua/teal, light/hot pink, and lavender. Any of those colors will look beautiful.

That's what I was going to suggest. Turquoise. Get some turquoise throw pillows for the bed. That would look great. :)
