Lime green.
Not my favorite color but with the bold pink it may look good.

I am not a decorator or even close to being one.

Oh I hope DD16 doesn't see this--we just redid her room a couple years ago :lmao:.

This is kind of fun to play with. Maybe get something on the opposite side of the wheel? Maybe a green or blue?

We re-did her room when she was 6 and she has now outgrown that "little girl room". :snooty: :rotfl:What's wrong with flowers and butterflies? :confused3

I've been thinking about re-doing it anyway, but DD and DS both got new beds a couple months ago, so we needed to buy all new bedding for them. I figured why not re-do both rooms at the same time? :)

Thanks for that link! I'll check it out!

Gray would be OK, but a little boring.

I kind if like the lime green idea....bold.

How about white with some sort of zebra border?

I live in an apartment and my living room/kitchen is one big room. We did the walls lime green with white on all the trim! My boyfriend was nervous at first, but it's really a great color and it's not hard to match things to it. We have beige, long gauzy window treatments, colorful paintings, mahogony (sp?) and bamboo furniture, hard wood floors. It's our "island" theme! :)

Just in case you are nervous about that color!:rotfl:

Yeah, not really a fan of lime green. ;)

I'm not that bold. :rotfl:

Due to the heavy texture on the walls, even painting zebra stripes on one wall is out.

We played a bit with the link golfgal posted and she likes the celery green color (lighter than lime green LOL) and one of the turquoise colors.

DD16 has custom Converse shoes that are zebra print on the outside with a turquoise lining. They look really nice together. She loves anything zebra print.

That's the color of my kitchen, and I get so many compliments on it. WHen I was painting it, my mother kept going on and on how bright it was and loud, but after it was finished, she loved it. LOL

well at least with the bright colors, there would be no sleeping late on school days. :rotfl2: Those colors scream "WAKE UP NOW!!!!"

Don't get Behr paint! We bought a house and decided to paint some rooms. We knew nothing about what brands were good, just bought based on who had the color we liked. We got fed up with painting and had 4 painters come out and give estimates for painting and everyone said Behr is awful and only 1 was willing to use it to paint with. Everyone recommending MAB or Sherwin Williams and they also reccomened having your primer tinted to the color you were painting.

We just used Behr paint for our kitchen and I was amazed at how easy it went on. Where we used 3 gallons of cheap paint previously we only used a gallon of the Behr paint. My sister-in-law to be is a professional painter and while she does prefer Sherwin Williams, she said Behr was fine. Sherwin Williams just gives her more stuff (like shirts, brushes, tarps)

I would go with a bold color, probably a green or a blue. I really liked that picture. I hate the color pink but loved it in that room.

Spring green, a bit lighter than the lime green previously shown. It's a very pretty shade.

I saw one of the decorating people do an accent wall in bright orange yesterday. She painted some white branches on it so match a single orange pillow on the bed. There were other pillows in black and white.

What about a single bright accent wall, usually behind the bed? I too like grey for the other walls but it might be too cool for a teen girl. You could always do white with an accent wall and lots of pillows, lamps and stuff to bring the color to the rest of the room.

Have fun.

Behr is the only kind of paint I use. I love it and our whole house inside is painted with it. :)

It looks great.
