This past January I booked 2 CR Garden Wing king bed rooms. The prices they quoted me in January apparently are the same prices for January 2013 because there is no price difference. I was playing around today since the new rates are out and found some hotels much cheaper. What would you do?

Stay at WL 2 rooms standard view and save $3062
Stay at BWI 2 rooms standard view and save $1360

We can afford to stay at any of them, but now that I've crunched numbers I'm thinking of changing the reservation because those are big savings! I'm just undecided as to what I want to do. Opinions would be appreciated!

I guess it depends on where you want to be. CR is attractive to us because we like to walk to the parks, and being so close to MK would be amazing. WL is a beautiful resort and close to MK, too.

Having said that, we are staying in the EPCOT area because we really love walking into EPCOT through the IG in the evenings for dinner and/or dessert. Plus, you are walking distance from DHS, or a quick boat ride. My vote would be for BWI.

We love WL! We also love bc because we can walk to ep and dhs as others have stated. I would say whatever park you think you will spend more time in stay close.

Out of those three choices, CR would be my last choice. We love the WL, but the Boardwalk area can't be beat. I'd probably go with the BWI first and if that didn't work out, I'd go with WL.

CR is definitely out. While we can afford it the king bed costs almost $100 more a night than a room with 2 queens. I spoke with 3 different cast members today and none of them could explain why my room was costing more. It may be a preferred room (I'm not sure if this even exists in the garden wing) but they never said anything about it. I don't want to stay at a resort that the CM's can't explain the price differences between 2 rooms that they say are the same size. Now it's just deciding how much we want to save!!

We love WL! I might even see about upgrading to CL if it's not too much more.
