As of now we have a PS for dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe for our first night in WDW. We are arriving early on Sunday morning. Now originally, I wanted to go to the MK, have my "must-do" lunch at Pecos Bills, then go back to the WL, get settled in our rooms, have dinner and go to bed early. However, after reading about how crowded MK gets on Sundays due to EE, I have been re-thinking this game plan. Now what I'm thinking is, check in to WL, go to Epcot, have a late lunch, early dinner (3pm -ish) at Beaches N Cream, go back to WL, relax and take a nap then MAYBE hit the MK for an hour or two at night (this would only be me, DH and best friend so we could leave the baby with my parents).

So THEN, if we go with plan B above, I would make a PS for breakfast at Whispering Canyon for one morning during our stay.

What do you think of this??? Is this a better game plan than going right to the MK? Thanks for your thoughts and opinions!!!

I f you need a dose of MK and the castle on your first day, then go to MK, have your pecos bills lunch, and just plan on doing maybe one or two attractions, and calling it a day. It was quite crowded when I was at WDW last week.....

The evening at MK might not be any better, we were at MK on Saturday morning (for my birthday brkfst at teh Castle..:)) and it wasnt all that crowded! we got in all of Fantasyland in about 2 hrs! :)
The we went back to MK on Tuesday evening (usually a slow day for MK) at about 7pm, e-night was at 10pm. the park was sooooooooooooo crowded, it was ridiculous.

so, just do whatever plan makes you smile more!!! :)

We'll be heading over to MK as soon as we check in. I don't care how crowded it is, it is a vacation until I've been in the MK. We plan on being there from 11ish-6 and then heading over to HDD. I"m not sure exactly what we'll get done while we are there but I can pretty much bet that there will be time to do POC, IASW and TTA. I'm not getting my hopes up for thrill rides but if there are still some fast passes left for before we leave. And you never really can predict those crowds. We went several times over the 4th of July and experienced some of the shortest waits ever. If seeing those crowds will stress you out on the first day then maybe you should put it off, otherwise start your vacation the way you would like to in the MK.
