We will be staying at FW the end of Nov and I could really use some advice on what loop to request. We need a pet loop since we will have our dog with us.

I requested loop 300, but I was looking for some opinions, pro or con, regarding this loop and any other pet loops to consider or stay away from.

I like the location of loops 300 and 700, since they seem to be closer to the things we will use more often. I don't anticipate using the pool much since it will be the end of Nov. We would like something quiet and not super hard to back into.

We don't actually have the camper yet, but it will be either a FW or TT with an awning and 1 slide about 30-33 feet long pulled by a F250.

Would appreciate any feedback regarding your experience or observations of these loops.

Thanks

We have stayed in both 300 and 700. Our last trip was in Jan., we stayed in 700 and liked it much better than 300. We took our 30 foot fifth wheel, pulled by our F250. It was our last trip on the fifth wheel :guilty: because we've since bought a motorhome. :teeth:

Anyway we had no problem fitting or getting into either loop, however, the sites in loop 700 seem to be just a fuzz bigger. Our walk to the dock from 700 was shorter than from 300 too.

The only downside to 700 is that 700 does not have a comfort station. You have to walk across the street to loop 400. It doesn't really matter to us cause we don't use the comfort station much - just once to wash clothes. But that might be a problem for some folks.

The Bassett Hound and the Yorkie were happy in both loops. :)

33 Days, 21 Hours and 27 minutes til we're back at Fort Wilderness and Star Wars Weekend!! :woohoo:

We just got back and stayed in 300 r the first time. Usually we stay n 700. If you have children I would suggest the 300 because the playground, basketball court and volleyball court are right at the end of the loop. We did like the 300 but 700 was closer to the marina. Also, if you do stay in 300 some of the sites have a path right next to your water/elect :cheer2: hook ups for people to walk to the comfort stations. We were glad we didn't get one of those sites. I also liked the pet walk they had in 700.

Hi...we stayed in the 300 loop on our first trip and the 500 loop on our 2nd trip. They are both great in their own way. 300 is closer to the beach, boat dock and 500 was closer to walk to the Meadow trading post and the pool and such.
