Need opinions on LTT

I am looking to here opiniions on LTT. I have never eaten here and looking for a sit down meal in MK. This would be for dinner and it would be for 4 adults and 6 kids. Is this a character meal and is the food good? We are not really picky eaters and pretty much like everything. This is like our 8th trip and are looking to try some new places to eat.

I sooo love LTT - here's my little report on it:

Liberty Tree Tavern – The Magic Kingdom

Here the characters, Minnie, Goofy, Chip'n'Dale are in colonial dress and they look very smart and are real friendly. Minnie comes round to your table and my DBF got to flirt with her LOL. This was my first time to a family style meal and I didn’t know quite what to expect. The starter was a salad of tossed mixed greens with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing which was zingy and fruity and just made you want more and more of the leaves. It was then followed by a plate of Turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin chops accompanied by mashed potatoes, vegetables, herb bread stuffing and macaroni and cheese – you then just help yourself and if you want more you ask for it although I don’t think you’ll be needing it. The meats were cooked to succulent levels and weren’t dried out. We opted to share a dessert at an extra cost and we went for the apple crisp – which was a bit like an apple cobbler served with ice cream. I would go back as it was a definite feel good meal.

This was our favorite meal on our last visit!! The food was wonderful. Turkey, Ham, mashed potatos, stuffing. Mmmmmmm.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was great also. I would highly recommed LTT.

I agree very good! We went there first time in DEC. before MVMCP. We are planning to take our family there in July. They announced each family before you went intio eat. EX. The Shaw Family from the state of IL. A lot quieter than some other character meals. And we were 2 adults, and still received a lot of character interaction!

My family loves LTT, but we all agree that the food is much better at lunch, though it isn't a character meal. They have a red pepper soup that is to die for.

The character interaction at dinner is great, however the food is rather blah. The salad is quite good, but everything else tastes just like Stouffer's...because most of it is Stouffer's.

We love LTT so much that I'm tired of writing recommendations about it on these boards! It's great...end of story!

LTT might be our family's absolute favorite character dining experience. The food is great, especially the salad dressing that they serve- yummmmmy!!! The service has always been wonderful and the character interaction is great too.

We adore it - nothing to add to previous posters - great atmosphere and service. Probably going to skip this trip as we want to try some new restaurants

We really enjoyed LTT. We walked up for dinner in Dec. 00 and were seated very quickly (but, having said that, I'd do PS just in case!).

The characters are great, and the food is like a Thanksgiving meal and the theming is wonderful!

"Small World" story -- our server was originally from South America, but had gone to the university in our town. Too funny!

It's one of our favorites!

Hi - Future LTT Visitor!

We went to LTT for dinner during the MNSSHP - parade was on and we walked in about 8 PM not having has dinner yet! It was an oasis dfrom the crowds, and we had managed to see some of the parade just pass by. Ducked into LTT and they seated us in 10 minutes or less.
Food was fine - yes - Stouffer-ish - but that's what it is - our party of six found it plentiful, servers were great. The funniest thing was that it was so slow I actually thought the characheters were going to have dinner WITH us!!!!!
Characters kept coming back, more photos, more joking around, more autographs - I actually think one was a male and one a female who found my stepson and GF very cute!!!LOL!!
We left filled and happy - the price was fine - can't really do too much better - all the character meals are similar
