Need opinions on hats to wear

No, I didn't let him wear it. I stuffed it in the front pocket of the backpack so it wouldn't touch anything else. He went the rest of the day w/out a hat and since that was the last day of our vacation, he just did w/out.

It does make me wonder about what parents teach kids ~ "Finders keepers..."
DD's science fair project that she did last month was on honesty. She dropped a dollar bill on the boys bathroom floor (DH teaches at the school so she did this BEFORE school and he let her out of class BEFORE recess -- He's her teacher this year), and she put a dollar bill on the girls bathroom floor each morning and each afternoon. She rotated bathrooms around the school. Then, she had the secretary in the office keep track of who turned in the most money -- boys or girls. She also took data on which bathrooms the money came from (the kindergarten through 2nd grade or the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.

All together she used $4 a day for 5 days or $20 total. Sadly, only 50% of the money was turned in. Of that, 60% were girls and 40% were boys. More money was turned in from the primary (younger kids) bathroom. It was a great project and won a ribbon for being so unique.

Just thought I'd add that interesting tidbit on honesty since I'm off topic again! :shamrock:

DH and I both got the 'Bora Bora' hat from Amazon.com. It's light quick drying, and has mesh at the top to let out the hot air. Plus it's onesize fits fit most.
