I'm planning a Sunday evening at DQ with dinner somewhere at DD. We're a family of 4 - me 48, DH53, DS14, DS17. We'll be on the silver plan so price isn't an issue (but I want to stay with "1 wish" restaurants so not Fultons) and we'll be having appetizers, entrees and desserts. We all like good food and are not picky but the kids aren't crazy about spicy food. We'll all eat sushi, some of us really like it. We don't need theme atmosphere like PH of RFC - more interested in good food, good service and reasonable atmosphere.

I have it narrowed to HOB or WPC. Any opinions?

In case you want to convince me of something totally different, maybe even not at DD, in the rest of our 9 days we're having lunch at Le Cellier and dinner at Boma, HBD, 'Ohana, Les Chefs de France, CG, PYC and Jiko. We'll be the ones waddling onto the plane at the end.

I haven't been to WPC but I really enjoyed HOB! The servers were great and if you go early enough, there isn't much of a wait. The jambalya is really great ... the portions are really huge! So you'll definetely leave full!

We've eaten at both HOB and WPC and much prefer WPC, although we love cajun and creole food. We went to the HOB sunday morning brunch and while the food was okay (buffet style and you don't get much of a chance to get up and get food) we nearly lost our hearing during the Gospel portion of the show. On another occasion we went for the jambalya and the chef forgot a couple of important ingredients....I think it was chicken and andouile sausage. I'm sure others have had more positive experiences there and perhaps it was just bad luck, but we have "crossed them off our list" so to speak.
WPC had great food, noisy but fun atmosphere and partly cloudy servers. We do plan on dining there again on our trip later this month.
Sorry to ramble...hope this helps a bit.
