Need Opinions! FRESH vs. Spoodles for breakfast?

We have never been to FRESH. We went to Spoodles for a brunch buffet back in 2001 (unfortunately they don't do the brunch anymore - it was great!) Which one would you go to?

We ate at FRESH twice in December and just loved it. The food and service were top notch. I would give Fresh a try, I think you will really enjoy it.

We ate at Fresh for breakfast in January and had a really bad experience. We were not told what we could order, either from the server (ie, toast), or from the juice bar, and the pastries had not been refreshed in a while and were not while we were there. The cream cheese bar for the stale mini bagels had gone bad sometime in the past few days, it almost seemed, because they tasted so "off."

We were also seated in a back corner, crowded next to other parties, while the rest of the seating was open and almost dead. I don't know the ins and outs of restaurant seating arrangements, but it seems that they could have spread us out a bit.

We loved Fresh so much that we went twice last trip and I'm not a breakfast eater normally. Actually I was hoping for the creme burlee again that we had a the weekend brunch. I feel in love with it! Both my boys asked to go back to Fresh on our next trip before any other restraunts were mentioned. We loved the cream cheese and mini bagels - the best I've ever had - not to mention the freshly made bagels, french toast, etc. I do agree that a few of the pastrys were a little dry from being left out in the open but the rest was GREAT!

Is Spoodles open for breakfast these days? I may be confusing it with learning in March that they were closed for lunch. I'd check on this before counting on it.

Yes, Spoodles is open for breakfast. They no longer have a buffet, but do have an all you can eat platter served family style. We ate there twice on our last trip.

Fresh, definitely! It was one of the better breakfasts I've had on property.

Spoodles used to the be best place on disney property to have breakfast..not anymore.

Head to Fresh..you won't be disappointed.

What is Fresh?

Fresh is a restaurant in the Dolphin Hotel.
We just got back from the Dolphin yesterday.
We ate breakfast at Fresh one time during our stay. DD and I both had made to order omlets and fresh fruit. All was delicious.
I thought it was a bit pricey for the two of us who don't eat too much.... Our bill was 36 bucks not including tip.
Service was fabulous!
