We are going in June and staying at Animal Kingdom in a 1 bedroom. We are not doing a ny form of the dining plan. We will eat breakfast and 1 meal in the room and do CS for the other meals.

I need 1 TS for a family of 6 --2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 toddlers--we do not want to eat at Ohana's. Could do any meal. Please help me think of one place as a nice treat. Thanks.

I was thinking Sci Fi as a late lunch?!? Do not want to spend a huge amount of money, but for the amount of people I know we will.

Sci-Fi at lunchtime is a possibility, as is Prime Time, also at DHS. Or, if you are going to be at DHS anyway you could take the boat over the to Yacht Club and eat at Captain's Grille for lunch. There is also Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club resort, which is inexpensive and is supposed to have terrific burgers, and they have awesome ice cream desserts too. You could also access that with the boat from DHS. There is also ESPN Club by the Boardwalk.

There are also the all-you-can-eat options, but they are a little pricier. However if you stick with a late lunch then the price is lower than dinner but still a great experience. One great one is Biergarten in Epcot, which has fantastic German food. We love Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom with the Winnie the Pooh characters and they also serve lunch.

At Magic Kingdom there is also the Plaza restaurant which I have read good things about. They have a pretty inexpensive menu as well.

Since you are staying at AKV, try Boma. Believe or not that was one of the repeats that my 7 yo DD requested for our next trip. All of my kids loved it and so did the adults.
