Hello!
My family and I are currently planning a trip to Disney in February... I still have about a month before our 180 day window, so of course I have already decided where to eat... except one day! LOL!

We are going for a week, and plan to do the Regular Dinning Plan, and generally eat a CS for lunch/breakfast and then do a TS for supper. It's our first trip to Disney since the late 80s (I was 4!!), so even though there's a million and one restaurants I pretty much ended up choosing the more commom ones! (at least for this trip, hopefully it won't be another 20 years before I come back!)

Here's the list I have so far:
Le Cellier (even though we are Canadian, LOL my mom loved the menu and the pictures)
Cinderella's Castle (this is a must, my mom always wanted to eat here, so even though it's 2 TS, I can't not pick it)
Chef Mickey's (for brunch though! Mostly because of Mickey, LOL)
Ohana's (Mom's dream resort is the Polynesian, but it's out of our budget, so dinning is the closest we can get!!)

So we need one more supper! Like I said it will be me (late 20s) and my parents (early 60's in good health). We are not very picky eaters and love most kind of foods. I have a rough schedule, and I would prefer it to be either at Epcot or DHS, I'm leaning more towards Epcot because a) they have more food choices and b) not super crazy about the DHS TS meals

You might enjoy a dinner at Boma. The flavors and preparations at Boma are very interesting and Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great place to visit. If not you may want to try another Epcot restaurant.

Coral Reef - cant beat the view of the huge wall aquariums while you eat you feel like you are dining under the sea.

We love the Garden Grill for the food and the characters. You can get your Mickey fix here.
I would trade Chef Mickey's for Donald's Tusker House Breakfast, but that's just my family. Better food and still characters.

We've eaten at Tutto Italia on our last two trips and enjoyed it.;) But one that was also good was Tokyo Dining. We were lucky enough to get a window seat and watch Illuminations while we ate-not much better than that!:cloud9:

Here are a few pix

If you're wanting something in Epcot, I would suggest either Chefs de France or Teppan Edo. If you have a Teppan-style restaurant near you, I would probably choose Chefs instead. The food is good at both, however.

If you're wanting a fun atmosphere, I've heard good things about Biergarten. We've never been but hope to go some day.

Now if you're willing to go outside of the parks, Kona Cafe is a short monorail ride away at the Poly. We really enjoyed the food here. We're thinking of trying Grand Floridian Cafe on our next visit based off of the menu and reviews. Another 2 credit meal (if you're willing to do that) is California Grill at the Contemporary. This was by far our best meal on the last trip. We've already got our ADR for our trip in December. The food and atmosphere were simply spectacular!

Good luck! :thumbsup2

The Kona Cafe is great, I second that!

If you are wanting to go to Epcot I have heard that Le Cellier, in Canada, is awesome! I have tried several times for several trips to get ADR's there and was never lucky!

I've eaten in Italy and Norway and they are both really good. Norway is a smorgasbord. :thumbsup2

There are many great restaurants in WS at Epcot. Although I like Kona Cafe, you are already eating one night at the Poly. I would recommend Epcot.
We often eat here 4 or 5 nights out of 7. Restaurants that we enjoy are:
Teppan Edo in Japan - Good food and fun atmosphere.
Restaurant Marakkesh in Morrocco. Beautiful restaurant, warm friendly service and good food.
Rose & Crown in the UK. We really enjoy the atmosphere here and the food is okay.
Le Cellier in Canada - Good, but I think a bit over hyped here on the DIS. Not as good as it once was.
San Angel Inn in Mexico. Cool atmosphere, perfect service and good food.
I am not a fan of the Biergarten. We went last trip and I was very disappointed.
DH does not like French food so we have not done Chef's de France or the Bistro de Paris but both get good reviews.
Enjoy

I would consider Boma or Whispering Canyon (our family faves). I think you're covered for character interaction so no need to do another. We also like the Plaza, but it is more affordable and since you're on the DDP, you should BUST IT for all that you can.

We're also considering Cape May Cafe for our 2011 trip. But those Tutto Italia pics gots me thankin'....

Another vote for Tokyo dining. We really liked it. They had lots of choices besides sushi if that's not your thing. I would totally recomend the tempura plate. It was wonderful. I also really enjoyed the Bento Box.

I would suggest San Angel Inn in Mexico. DH and I go there every trip and have never had a bad meal. It is not mexican food in the vein of Taco Bell or Chipotle, but they have some very good dishes. The atmosphere is amazing and it is a great place to sit down and enjoy a nice dinner.

I would really recommend trying to eat in Epcot- the best food is there. You can check out menus and reader's reviews over at allears.net, "rate & review" section. We've liked Teppan Edo, Biergarten, and LeCellier a lot (and actually, have booked all three for our next trip!)

If you have your heart set on LeCellier and eating in the castle, then I strongly suggest calling/ booking online on the very first day you are eligible. Being open to a lunch rather than a dinner, at least at LeCellier, will help a lot too.

Good luck!

Epcot has an AMAZING assortment of places for your TS. A few worth mentioning, Teppan Edo, Corral Reef and and our family favorite Garden Grill. The Garden Grill is one of (I believe) 5 rotating restraunts in the USA. The food is great to, plus you get Chip and Dale, Pluto and of course Mickey.

Biergarten in Germany. It's fun, great food, and not always packed.
