We are now arriving one day earlier for our trip 8/30 instead of 8/31, so we will have an extra TS to plan for. I'm looking for a restaurant with a lot of variety of foods. We won't be in a park that day, so it would need to be in DTD(we are going to DQ that day) or at a resort. We already have Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier and Whispering Canyon Cafe. Anyone have any ideas for me? I need a few choices if I plan on getting in anywhere.

In DTD Earl of sandwich is delicious. Or if you want real variety try Boma at AKL...great place and you can walk around the resort to see the animals!

In DTD we like Rainforest Cafe or over at Westside, Wolfgang Puck Cafe is another good choice. Great appetizers and great meals!!
If you are looking to try another resorts dining , like the previous poster, we reccommend Bomas. We have eaten there many times and the food is terrific.

How about hitting the Boardwalk - there's variety at ESPN club and Big River Grill, and there's a fave of many - Spoodles!!!

Marketplace

Cap'n Jack's Restaurant

Pleasure Island

Planet Hollywood
Raglan Road

West Side

Wolfgang Puck Cafe

these are the 1 TS resturants at DTD (I think I copied them all)

We have ADRs at Cap'n Jacks and Wolfgang Pucks.

We have also eaten at Planet Hollywood which isn't as bad as everyone says it is!

Thanks for the ideas! I think Planet Hollywood looks good for a lot of choices and since we'll already be in DTD. I'd love to try Rainforest Cafe, but its not on the DDP. Now to see if PH is available. I'll keep Boma's and Spoodle's as my other choices.

Lots of folks have been giving rave reviews for Raglan Road, which is on the DDP. After reading many of the reviews and looking over my ADRs I actually changed from Boma to Raglan Road for dinner one night (and Boma is one of my favorites and must do each trip... however, for this upcoming trip I'm having to settle for Boma for breakfast... :confused3 )

I feel Boma is a great value for 1TS. We really enjoyed the different offerings. :Pinkbounc

Hey how about 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, it's a excellent buffet with cinderella and the fairy god mother and crew

Rainforest Cafe at DTD has a lot of choices.

ESPN club at Boardwalk looks good, too, but they don't take reservations so you may have a long wait.

We tried Spoodles in 2003, and loved it. DW and I each ordered 2-3 of the tapas (appetizer sized items to share). Now, we didn't have DDP, so the amount of money we saved might not matter. But, another perk was speed: as small appetizer items, they came out fast and together. Cut down on our time there, but we didn't feel rushed at all.

I was able to get into Planet Hollywood at 5:30. Perfect since we will be doing DQ and DTD shopping from around 11am. We'll just shoot right in afterwards and have our meal. Next day is MK, so it will be nice to get back to the resort and relax that evening.

Don't forget that the MYW package now includes one meal voucher per group per trip to Planet Hollywood.

Boma seems perfect for you. Plus it would give you an opportunity to visit AKL, if you have not done so already.

I'm glad you picked Planet Hollywood as that is what I was going to suggest. They have one of the largest menus @ WDW and there is definitely something for everyone (and it's great that PH is included in the DDP).
