I've read the thread back and forth and have gotten some great ideas for offsite restaurants. We are trying to eat at places we do t have at home, which is Indy. We are not looking for breakfast, we are either going to have it in the room or have an ADR for one. We have two kids, so something not too nice please, cheap is great!

Here's what I have so far-
Earl of sandwich
Wood fire grill buffet
El fiesta ( in Hainesville)
Azteca d'oro
Five guys ( we have them at home, but live them)

I'm looking for good Chinese, American or Greek restaurants. Sandwiches shops would be good also. No pizza places though, we are all sick of pizza at the moment.

Last trip we ate at Miller Ale house and Sweet tomatoes, we liked them, but want to try some new places.

We are staying at the Reunion resort, so I don't want to go too far north of WDW.

What do you think of my suggestions? What places do you love?

Also, we are not going to the parks Morher's day and we are looking for a nice brunch someplace.
Has anyone been to Fogo with kids? A 9 & 4 year old. What about Texas de Brazil?

Thanks for the help!!'

We love Cafe Tu Tu Tango. Don't you have a Fogo de Chão in Indy. Also folks seem to like Sweet Tomatoes I have not been to one.

Yes, we have a Fogo here, but we've not made it there yet. I worry my it's too upscale for my rowdy 4 year old!

In downtown Celebration: Celebration Town Tavern and Columbia Restaurant. Bonefish Grill on 192 near Orange Lakes is very good.

I don't think I would do Texas de Brazil with kids that age, maybe wait a few years.

We live north of Indy so we are there all the time!

We like to eat at Fudruckers and Giordanos pizza. Giordanos usually has coupons on restaurants.com so I would check that out.

Thanks for the response, you're probably right and we should wait on Texas or Fogo until she's a little older. Do you have any recommendations for a Mothers Day brunch somewhere? I will definitely check out Fudruckers, thanks!

We try to eat a Fuddruckers (if its still there, we haven't been in two years and I don't think we ate there last trip since we stayed mostly onsite). We used to have one here that we loved, but it closed up several years ago. Plus, it is right across from DTD, so a very short walk or drive when we are staying there.

How funny, we are also staying at Reunion for mother's day weekend and I was coming here to ask about brunch places. :)

Last time I was in Indy during Devour Indy it was on the list for a great price, If you ever want to try it.

Celebration Town Tavern is a great choice. Cafe Tu Tu Tango is fun, but can get pricey quickly with the small plates menu.

Bahama Brreze has good, reasonably priced food, and a definite Florida atmosphere. Good for your "splurge" night of the trip.

If you liked Alehouse, try the new Sea Dog Brewey a block up Palm Parkway. Same vibe, but with better (microbrewed, natch) beer, better food, and much more attentive servers.

100 Montaditos is supposed to be Fantastic. It is a Spanish QSR that has come to Florida. It has 100 different Montaditos (little sandwiches) that start at around a buck a piece. It is on my list to stop at on our next trip.

We tried Manny's Original Chophouse, Haines City in Dec and again in March. It can get crowded but can call ahead. A good kids menu as well.

I have a half dozen friends who rave about this place, still never been. I need to get over there.
