We are headed to Disney in December. We always seem to eat at the same restaurants (which we love). We have ADRs at Garden Grill, San Angel Inn and Rose and Crown Pub. We want to try some new locations, but are unsure of what to select. We are on the standard dining plan. Any suggestions would be great. We are going to be at WDW for 8 days. Thanks for the help:santa:

We always take a trip animal kingdom lodge to explore and eat at one the restaurants there: Sanaa, boma, or Jiko. We also like coral reef, chefs de France, and Tokyo dining. I also like grand Floridian cafe and Olivia's, but I don't know if they are expensive enough to use the dining plan.

just got back Thursday night from our trip, liberty tree tavern in the magic kingdom is very good we also had reservations at Ohanas at the Poly., Boma at animal kingdom lodge all of these were excellent! We also ate at teppan edo which was a first time, food was just okay but the theme was great, doubt I will do a return trip there in the future, crystal palace was another that was good, coral reef was a disapointment this time around had been before and really liked it but it wasnt very good this past time. Cape may was another that was good, I recomend liberty tree and ohanas as my top choices!

We always enjoy a visit to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Just walking around the resort is a real treat and we think the gift shop there is the best of the resorts.

We have eaten at Boma and Jiko and really enjoyed both. DH is always happiest when Coca-Cola pork is on the menu at Boma. This is one of the better buffets at Disney, I think. I highly recommend trying either of these.

And walking around the lobby of AKL - sit by the fire pit, have a drink at Victoria Falls, see the giraffes, buy a cool t-shirt. It's a wonderful place to be!

Some of our favorite TS locations:

'Ohana dinner
Tusker House breakfast
Libery Tree Tavern lunch
Boma dinner

We also loved Tusker House breakfast. Tusker House is such a cool place in general. We also loved Whispering Canyon, but it was noisy so I wouldn't go there if you don't like that.

All 3 restaurants at AKL are good.

Tusker House is my favorite character meal, Biergarten is my favorite buffet and Flying Fish is my favorite signature. Favorite counter service is Tangierine Cafe.

Favorite overall is bluezoo but it's not on the dining plan.

We ate at Yak & Yeti's for the first time a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it! We enjoyed it so much we ate there twice.:goodvibes

We have enjoyed Teppan Edo and Le Cellier (although better for lunch b/c it only costs 1 TS credit then, but 2 at dinner). At DHS we like Brown Derby (although it is a signature)....

Coral Reef- pretty good, but a bit noisy for us
Epen Tedo- good, enjoyed the food both in Jan and June- Did not enjoy our seatmates in June- bad enough to say we'll try elsewhere in Oct.
California Grill- Signature. our first visit was in June, DD9 loved it just as much as DH and I did.
LeCellier-Signature for Dinner. Great, another favorite for all of us.
O'hana- Really good. DD9 says was her favorite. Wanted to return the next night. DH and I enjoyed it also, but not on our list as a must do in a couple of weeks. Food and service good, however not really our style of food, glad we tried it though.
Wolfgang Pucks- Did the express in June on our way home- good service DH and DD loved the pizza. DH and I did the TS in Jan. Loved the pasta dish we had- WAY to much food- we could've shared.
Mama Melrose- DD9's least favorite. I think because it was a heavy meal on a very hot day. Food good, service slow, very noisy. Resturant was packed I think because of the Fantasmatic Meal package. Wouldn't do this again @ 4:00 in the afternoon on a hot day!

For Character Meals: We only did breakfast in June, and here's our "review" on the following: Chef Mickey's- the best for the food, and Crystal Palace best for the interaction. (CP was sooo fun!:rotfl:) CRT for breakfast was just okay IMHO, but the atmosphere and experience was nice and compensated for that :)

The only other character meal we've done was GG in 2007- Loved it. In 17 days we're going to try Tusker House and 1900 Park Fare. Other new tries for us include Liberty Tree Tavern, Beirgarten (DH loves German food), and the Yachtsman. :goodvibes

We like a lot of the places that others have already suggested. Our favorite 1-credit restaurant is Kouzzina at the Boardwalk.

Hi, we just got back and tried 'Ohana at the poly. We loved it. Our kids loved it. As much as you want to eat and it was really good. Our old standbys that we love are 1900 park fare for dinner and tusker house for breakfast.

Liberty Tree Tavern. We usually just go to character meals for the most part for any TS meals. We decided to try something new this last trip and had lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern and we agreed it was the best meal we have had at WDW in a long time.

Epen Tedo- good, enjoyed the food both in Jan and June- Did not enjoy our seatmates in June- bad enough to say we'll try elsewhere in Oct.>>>Dont you mean TEPPAN EDO? :) I love that place and never had a problem with seatmates. Sorry to hear that you did.

My faves:

California Grill- LOVED this place a lot! Had the best steak ever! DS11 loves it too!

Wolfgang Puck Express (marketplace)- OMG by far the best meal of the trip. Cannot believe how good it was!

Tusker House breakfast - AWESOME! Cant say enough good things about it. Amazing selection of food. Huge!

Crystal Palace - loved every meal here. Nice and convenient too.

1900 PF - Breakfast here is way better than dinner (food wise). I was so disappointed with the dinner selection. But the dinner characters are funnier than breakfast.

Liberty Tree (lunch or dinner). Simply delish.

Teppan Edo - YUMMY! Always delish food here. Seatmates are always a fun bunch.

Kona cafe - (breakfast) - Best non-buffet breakfast in disney IMHO.

I know there are some faves im missing....but these are the ones i can think of right now.

Some of our faves:

Via Napoli - love this! going back in November!
Yak and Yeti - loved this too - disappionted we couldn't fit into our Nov schedule
Crystal Palace - my fave character breakfast
Tusker House - my kids fave character breakfast
