Do I call the ped. or the allergist? Our ped. prescribed our first epipen jr b/c we told him what happened when DD ate peanuts and he did not want DD to be w/o one. When he gave us that rx it had 3 refills on it. Since then we have a new ped (we moved) and our allergist, neither who have had to prescribe the epi b/c our original ped did.
If I call the allergist is he going to want to see DD again for another skin test, her last one was almost 2 years ago. I just don't want to put her through that again right now. I know she is allergic to peanuts and she probably did not outgrow it and I keep her away from all nuts anyway.
So, who do I call and will they just write out the rx us?
