Ok - I know this is crazy. For the last year or so I have been looking for ways to get things for free or very cheap.
The Budget Board has been super helpful with my quest so far! I shop at CVS and get almost everything in the toiletries category free. I look for the coupon deals at the grocery store and get lots of free food. I found out about Redbox and the free codes for them, etc. etc. etc.
So now I need a computer. Nothing super fancy. What I have now is a dinosaur. I did not put money in the budget for a computer this year. I could go without but then I would be losing money by not being able to find out about all the deals at the different stores. What do you recommend? How much memory, etc. does it need to have? How much should I expect to spend? It's been about 8 years since I have needed a computer so I'm guessing a lot has changed.
