We are down to the last couple weeks of my pregnancy (how in the world did that happen??)...

And, well, a girls name has been decided on long ago (before Christmas, even). A boys name, well, I get to pick the name since he picked the girls name, and I am having issues.

Can you please tell me what to choose? Or what you like best? And if there are any downfalls of the names?

Also, the middle name will be Charles after DH's dad who passed away when DH was 7....

I like Ethan..but not w/ Charles (even though I voted for it) it doesn't "flow" as well. I actually like the flow of the other names better...especially Joseph Charles and Matthew Charles.

I like Ethan too. You have a lot to choose from. I just did a poll last week for my names. I had two names and unfortunately they ended up being split almost 50/50. And I heard both positive and negative things about both names. Over 200 people voted and I'm still not any closer to choosing a name. I'm due July 4, when are you due?

I like Ethan and Joseph the best out of those choices.

Ryan, Matthew, Joshua, even Dylan are so popular I lean more towards the names that aren't so popular. I mean they're fine names, just very common.

Joseph might be kinda popular, but I like it anyway, especially "Joey".

Well, I guess I'm in the minority. I like Joe. Joseph Charles sounds great and Joe is NOT trendy. Ethan is also nice, but I think a bit trendy these days. Happy Baby to you no matter what you chose:D

I quite like Dylan Charles. Ethan is nice too, but I'd prefer Eli over Ethan.

Have fun:bounce:

Why not Ray? :)

Seriously, I like Matthew, but since I'm weird I prefer the French spelling, Mathieu.

As long as it's not Apple;)

I also voted for Joseph (Joe). The other names do sound kind of trendy and like there will be a lot of kids with the same name in his classes once he reaches school age. I used to work in the schools, and if I have kids I will definitely try to avoid any and all trendy names.

I think he should go by Charles. What a cool name. And there aren't many kids who go by it.

I voted for Dylan as that was my second choice for my Colton. I also like the initials DC, as a nickname.
But my 2nd choice is Ethan, and 3rd choice is Ryan(Coltons middle name). Good luck, its not easy deciding. :D

There are 3 Joe/Joey/Josephs in my DS 1st grade class. I was worried Cameron was too trendy and there would be tons of them. Cam is the only one in the whole school, LOL! Go figure?;)

joseph is cool,,, my fav outta those,, plus that he could be called joe, j c, etc,, gtes m,y vote

I chose Joseph Charles and would call him Joey. My DH is named Joseph John.:sunny:

we are having a hard time picking out a name for our son, who is due in 7 weeks. Our boys are Ryan Leigh and Eric Jordan,(ok, technically they are MEN!) and we are thinking about Dylan Jacob "DJ" Our daughter is Tara Lynn, we have a long complicated last name so 2 syllables seems to work well for us. Good luck!

Joshua is DF's name and Charles is his father's name. So naturally, I chose that one. I like the name Ethan though.

DH's name is Joshua (middle name Benjamin) and we call him Josh, so I am partial to Joshua.

I picked Ethan. It's a short simple name, yet unique. I'm not too big on longer names that can be shortened. Example: Michael: Mike
